When is Orientation?
Orientation is intended to introduce you to all the tools you might need to thrive at Columbia Seminary. During orientation, you’ll meet fellow students; interact with faculty, staff, and returning students; get to know Columbia, Decatur, and Atlanta; and learn about the many resources available to students. You will have the opportunity to register for classes, pick up your student ID, get acquainted with campus, and much more!
Orientation will be held for all incoming MDiv, MAPT, Dual Degree, MA(TS), and ThM students from August 27-29, 2019.
International Student Orientation is August 22-26, 2019.
Orientation is required for all incoming students.
In late July, you’ll receive a detailed check list of items to complete to register for orientation and the dates and schedule of fun and informative activities.
In early August, you will receive more information from the Office of Student Affairs and Community Life, including a detailed orientation schedule.
When do classes start?
Greek school is scheduled for July 8-August 16th.
The MAPT Introductory Seminar is scheduled for August 12-16th.
Fall semester courses will begin on Tuesday, September 3rd.
