The Center for Academic Literacy (CAL) provides one-on-one coaching, workshops, and other programming to enrich students’ competencies in analytical writing, critical reading and thinking, theological research, effective communication, and other forms of graduate-level academic literacy. WHAT IS COACHING?

CAL coaching offers current CTS students the opportunity to meet with a professional CAL coach for either 30 or 60 minutes for conversation about any project at any stage. Our coaching consultations are always conversational. Students may come to CAL to discuss writing assignments, time management, difficult readings, study skills, and more.
