International Student Pre-Enrollment Checklist
International Student Orientation is August 22-26, 2019. All New Student Orientation is August 27-29, 2019.
Accepted students who are not U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents of the U.S. will need to obtain an F-1 Visa or transfer your SEVIS record to CTS, provide proof of minimum financial support, and obtain school-sponsored hospitalization insurance (or proof of coverage ) for themselves and all accompanying family members.
The International Student Services Team will guide you through visa and immigration questions, and we’re here to offer our friendship and support as you learn to navigate a new culture and community. Our office provides the following:
F-1/J-1 student visa guidance
SEVIS (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System) administration
Compliance with federal immigration regulations
International student orientation
Campus programs and events
Hospitality for new and returning students
Once Admitted, fill out the Need-Based Aid Application Form.
Then, fill out the Visa Information Form. This enables us to begin the I-20 issuance process.
Submit via email a copy of your Passport, bank statements from you and/or your sponsors, signed letters of support specifying how much money is being pledged.
