The pastor will lead worship and preach weekly, collaborating with the staff and worship committee to plan meaningful services. They will provide pastoral care to members, officiate weddings and funerals, and lead special services throughout the liturgical year. The pastor will support and equip lay leadership, including ruling elders and committee chairs, to fulfill ministry goals. They will oversee Christian educational opportunities for all ages, and participate in intergenerational fellowship events. The pastor is expected to engage with the local community, represent the church in local events, and nurture partnerships with mission-aligned organizations. They will help guide strategic planning, ensure stewardship of church resources, and ensure effective communication. The pastor is supervised by the Session, works in partnership with staff and volunteers, and is responsible for promoting a welcoming and grace-filled church culture rooted in Scripture and led by the Holy Spirit.
