Director of Children and Youth, Grapevine, TX
The Director of Children and Youth (“DCY”) will provide a welcoming and loving atmosphere for people wherever they are on their life's journey (people of every age, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, economic or family status, mental or physical abilities). The DCY develops, coordinates, and recruits teams of volunteer ministry leaders while working harmoniously, effectively, and confidentially with church members.
Working closely with the Christian Formation Ministry responsibilities include background checks, curriculum development and programming. This also includes planning and publicizing Christian Formation and Youth events which includes communicating effectively with youth using personal contact, social media, and other forms of communication to engage Youth and Young Adults in the congregation. The DCY will lead, facilitate, and attend middle school and high school programs.
