The Director of Children and Youth (“DCY”) will provide a welcoming and loving atmosphere for people wherever they are on their life's journey (people of every age, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, economic or family status, mental or physical abilities). The DCY develops, coordinates, and recruits teams of volunteer ministry leaders while working harmoniously, effectively, and confidentially with church members.
Working closely with the Christian Formation Ministry responsibilities include background checks, curriculum development and programming.
